RC4 LumenDim M2 2-Channel CRMX Wireless Dimmer

The RC4 Series 3 LumenDimM2 is a miniature, battery-powered 2-channel wireless DMX dimmer on the CRMX platform, ideal for LEDs, lamps, and motors in small props and costumes — full wireless RDM, super-smooth LED and halogen dimming, hobby servo-motor control, and a sophisticated effects engine at an economical price.

Like all RC4 Series 3 devices, it includes a built-in radio receiver and uses RC4 OneTouch™ to assign any DMX channel and dimmer curve to either output with one button press. Configuration can also be done via RDM.

Features include the RC4 Flkr Effects Engine™, DMX data in/out, RC4 HotPatch™, 16-bit dimming with multiple PWM frequencies, and a high-efficiency 6–35 VDC input range.

Two channels suit warm/cool white or dual-colour LED mixing. The RC4 Cross-Fade Controller delivers best-in-class colour-mix consistency across the dimming range using 16-bit (65,536-step) resolution — far finer than the 256-step quantisation of single-channel console colour mixing.

RC4 Digital Persistence™ brings the pleasing smoothness of incandescent filament fade to LED dimming, with eight persistence periods emulating a range of halogen lamp sizes. Multiple dimmer curves are available: Non-Dim, Non-Dim Inverted, Linear, Linear Inverted, Inverse-Square-Law (ISL), ISL Inverted, and clockwise/counter-clockwise servo motor pulse.

Screw terminals connect the power supply and two load channels; dimmer output voltage matches the DC input voltage with no appreciable loss within the device's 16 A total power handling. The DMX mini-plug port works with 3-pin and 5-pin XLR adapters, most commonly the RC4DMX5FA.
