RC4 LumenDim6 (High Power)

The LumenDim6 is a 42 A high-power 6-channel DC dimmer for props, turntables, set pieces, and more. It smoothly dims LEDs and lamps, controls small DC motors with wide-range speed control, and optimises colour and appearance for theatre and motion-picture applications, operating from 6 VDC to 35 VDC with low heat generation and maximum energy efficiency.

All RC4 Series 3 products include 19-bit dimming — eight times finer than 16-bit, with 524,000 steps of resolution — for exceptionally smooth LED dimming even at the bottom of the curve. The LumenDim6 also features dimmer-curve tweaking to find the most visually linear response for any LED technology.

Configuration is done via the built-in RC4 OneTouch™ interface, or Remote Device Management (RDM) over the CRMX wireless link or the wired DMX port.

Like the rest of the RC4 Harmonized Design platform, it features PWM frequency optimisation, RC4 Digital Persistence™, an HSL Color Controller, RC4 ColorMatch™, the RC4 Wireless Flkr Effects Engine™, full RDM support (including E1.37 extensions), and RC4 CodeLoader firmware updates.

Anderson Powerpole connectors handle the power supply and six load channels; the dimmer output voltage matches the DC input voltage with no appreciable losses within the 42 A total power handling of the device. At or near maximum power, Anderson 45A pins, appropriately sized wiring, and external fuses/breakers are required.
